Lava Lava Beach Club is a popular restaurant / bar known for its on-the-beach location.  This is our favorite bar on Kauai.  It is within walking distance of the condo.  Lead bartender Nilo makes tropical cocktails with fresh fruits, juices and spices he finds at farmers markets.   

 

Lava Lava is right on the ocean with tables on the sand.  It has a large full-service rectangular bar with HD Flat Screen TVs overhead.  With very high ceilings and open to the ocean, Lava Lava is contemporary and spacious.   For more information, see the Lava Lava Beach Club listing under Restaurants.   We love to enjoy a cocktail at the bar and watch the waves come in.  They have a live musician each evening.

Lava Lava is at the back of the Kauai Shores Hotel on Papaloa Road just before the Coconut Marketplace.   Their only parking option is valet so it is best to walk there.  There are some parking spots on Papaloa Road just before the Kauai Shores parking lot.  To get to Lava Lava, walk down the driveway on the left side of the hotel.  Lava Lava is the building at the end.  See the Map at the bottom of this page.
