Activities Near Wailua Bay View

The condo is right on a 12 mile multi use path along the East coast. You can rent bikes in Kapa'a. This path is still being constructed so there are some gaps. You can go south over the Wailua River to Lydgate park a mile south of the condo. When you go North from the condo, the trail stops at the Coconut marketplace. You can take other roads north until the path begins again. You may want to simply start where the multi-use path restarts farther north. Going North on Kuhio Highway take a right turn at Kaloku Road. This is just past the Burger King. Kaloku Road leads to the multi-use path. This is the prettiest part of the trail. Many people enjoy kayaking on the Wailua River nearby. Wailua Bay has good conditions for surfing, boarding and wind surfing. It is fun to watch from the lanai or do yourself if you are adventurous. The Wailua Municipal Golf Course is a beautiful public golf course along the east shore. It is about one mile south of Wailua Bay View condominiums. Kauai Mini Golf and Botanical Garden

Why waste a day on Kauai playing miniature golf? Because it is fun, the grounds are beautiful, and they have a great concession stand with excellent local coffee and tasty food options. They also have an extensive set of trails behind the golf course.
